Vintage Hand Painted Tole Cachepot Planter, Footed Metal with Ring Handles

This beautiful hand-painted tole cachepot is labeled Jeanne Reed’s Ltd, Williamsburg, VA. The flared metal planter is painted in sage and copper tones with a blue Delft-style cottage scene in a gold oval medallion, flanked by floral urns, garlands, and a gridded panel design. It stands on ornate cast feet and has ring handles on the sides, so it works as a planter cover, a book holder, or a shelf and mantel accent. This vintage find does have vintage patina and some paint wear.
