Vintage Franklin Mint Chinese Checkers Dragon Game With Semiprecious Gemstones

One of the rarer board games in the Franklin Mint series of board games is the Chinese Checkers game . This game was created in conjunction with the Asian Art Museum and the result is a version of this classic game with a great degree of elegance and opulence.

The playing field of highly polished brass is embellished with gold and set into an ivory-colored surface complete with a series of highly detailed Chinese-inspired artwork. The playing field is then set on top of a mahogany wood pedestal featuring six 24K gold-plated dragon heads and 24k gold plated feet. The details and art create a unique and highly decorative playing experience. The original gemstone marbles are included with the box. The gemstones include blue lace agate, red jasper, picture jasper, black onyx, rose quartz, and aventurine quartz. Two of the pink marbles are missing.
