Vintage Brass Ship Wheel Bell on Stand, Nautical Desk or Counter Bell, India

This charming brass ship's wheel holds a small hanging bell in the center, set on a round stepped base. Eight handles radiate from the thick wheel rim, and the bell hangs from a hook and chain. The brass has a warm, aged patina with brushed marks, tarnish, and a few darker spots on the bell. Use it as a desk or counter bell, or as a nautical accent on a bookshelf, bar cart, or mantel. It suits coastal homes, lake houses, offices, and collections of maritime treasures. Made in India. Part of our vintage finds collection.
The center bell does not have a ringer, the bell rings by hitting the sides of the ships wheel.
